  • On December 19, 2017, Deutsch Hunt PLLC filed an amicus brief on behalf of a group of retired U.S. District Judges as amici curiae in support of Respondents in Hall v. Hall, No. 16-1150 (S. Ct.).  The brief may be viewed here.

  • On November 2, 2017, Deutsch Hunt PLLC filed an amicus brief on behalf of the American Lighting Association, Home Furnishings Association, Jewelers of America, National Sporting Goods Association and six other national trade associations as amici curiae in support of Petitioner in South Dakota v.   • Deutsch Hunt's amicus brief on behalf of Federal Courts and Federal Indian Law Scholars in Patchak v. Zinke, was mentioned in news coverage previewing the argument in that case (held on November 7).

  • On October 16, 2017, the amicus brief filed by Deutsch Hunt PLLC on behalf of 3M Co., The Procter & Gamble Co., Johnson & Johnson, Shell International, and other companies in Oil States Energy Servs., LLC v. Greene's Energy Group, LLC, was quoted in an article about the intellectual property cases before the Supreme Court in its 2017 term.   • On October 2, 2017, the news media covered the Supreme Court's denial of a petition claiming that public use of North Carolina beaches was a taking despite historic and long-standing public use of the beaches. Deutsch Hunt PLLC filed a successful brief in opposition to the petition on behalf of Emerald Isle, North Carolina.
